This week is the traditional Carnan family vacation in the Shenandoah.  We’ll be spending the week at Shrinemont, where they feed you three times a day and the rest of the hours are your own.  Until recently it didn’t have cell phone service or wifi, and even now those are pretty spotty.

Sounds like the perfect writer’s retreat to me!
